The Places to Stay section is still small and currently only has a local camping site but this will increase in time.
Eating out has become very popular in recent years and this section can supply you with pubs, restaurants, cafe’s, takeaways, all in your local area, with names addresses and phone numbers.
In the Business to Business section, there are business services including lawyers, accountants, web design, graphic design, software solutions, printers, IT Services and Business Consultants, all based locally in the Cross Hands Area.
The Health & Medical section includes traditional medical practices, dentists, chiropractors, pharmacies, health clinics, optometrists, chiropodists and vets with a web link to a complementary medicine site for those who prefer an alternative to traditional methods.
The Finance section includes banks, general insurance companies, financial advisors and mortgage consultants. Enough to help with any financial requirement.
Home & Business Interiors. This is the latest section that deals with furnishing and improving the home and business. Including kitchens, bathrooms bedrooms, interior design, bespoke design and manufacturers, appliances and furniture etc.
This section of the Cross hands life website is devoted to bringing you useful information on schools, colleges, creches in your local area. Need to travel by train or bus?, then there are timetables for you.
If you are in need of a important or useful number, then it’s probably listed here as well as web links to most of the major companies, utilities and important official bodies you could need.
There is a places of interest section which includes, houses, castles, parks and gardens all within a short distance from Cross Hands, including distances.
New information and sections are always being added.
Although there is a wealth of shopping facilities around Cross Hands, no community can exist with just shops. I have tried to include (as illustrated below), just how much more there is here to help service the local area.

To help improve the facilities on this site, two new Notice Boards have been installed for 2007.
Currently for the Penygroes Ward, they can be set up for any individual community. This will allow anyone to browse, local news, events, obituaries, greetings, birthdays, notices and much more.
If you want to contribute, you will need to register with your email address and
a password, and that’s it. Once that’s done you can post your own messages and notices
absolutely free of charge and unlike local papers, these messages will be available
at any time.
So if you have something to say, even if it’s just happy birthday to someone close... now you can. Just remember to add the link to your favourites.

Cross Hands has a great deal to offer if you know where to look but because of its association with Leekes, most people don’t tend to explore further. In fact, if you know where to look you can get almost anything you need here.
